John Ostlund, Owner
John founded K-Jewel in 1994 and purchased KYNO in 2008. By 2015, he and his wife Katie expanded their media presence by acquiring 95.7 The Fox, New Rock 104.1, and 105.5 FM. Throughout his career, John has prioritized community service, earning the Excellence in Business Award from The Fresno Bee and being inducted into the Advertising Hall of Fame by the Fresno Advertising Federation. Eric Ostlund, Vice President
Eric’s journey in the world of radio began in high school, where he discovered his passion for both commercial and public service writing. After earning honors at the Los Angeles Recording School, he returned to broadcasting, merging his love for technology with his work. This combination led him to become Chief Engineer in 2017. Kirk is a dedicated local from the Central Valley with two decades of media expertise. Russ Parsley, Senior Account Manager
Russ Parsley was born and raised in the Bay Area, where he discovered his passion for radio through his neighbor, the legendary Chuck Buell, a well-known San Francisco DJ. After serving in the Air Force, Russ began his radio career in Myrtle Beach before moving to Fresno to work at 95.7 The Fox. In 1996, he transitioned from on-air to a career in marketing, starting with web development and expanding to include digital, television, and radio marketing.
